Artworks: Taxidermy birds in the Dark Room
Tom Sloane lives on an isolated property in Southern Tasmania where visitors are greeted by a large cow skull on his gate. Once inside it is possible to see the scope, passion and quality of Toms work as well as the many ribbons and awards he has received both nationally and internationally.
We are thrilled to have commissioned Tom to produce a number of pieces that sit within the Dark Room. He has a talent for creating a display that brings life to the pieces. His Currawong is the keeper of the Dark Room, perched on the old cow bone on top of the display cabinet always alert and looking.
Currently we have one display for sale which includes two Kookaburras positioned on display on top of the central display case in the Dark Room.
